The United Methodist Church of Edgeley, N.D. had its beginning in 1887 when Rev. Samuel Preston came from Grand Rapids, N.D. and organized the first Sunday School class made up of 8 pioneers. They held their first worship service in the Milwaukee Depot. By April 14, 1889, the Wesley Methodist Church was dedicated. The present church with its stained-glass windows & Moller pipe organ was dedicated on December 19, 1915.
