St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church of Vesta, Minnesota was organized June 10, 1900. The first church was built in the fall of 1900. In 1967 a parsonage was built. Groundbreaking for the present church was June 9, 1974, and the first service was December 22, 1974, with dedication June 8, 1975. The 377 members are presently served by Pastor Paul Schlenner.
