The building housing the Methodist Congregation was formerly the First Methodist Congregation was formerly the First Episcopal Church in Pembina, built in 1886.

It was purchased by the Methodist Conference after the Methodist Church was destroyed by fire in February 1937.

It is a picturesque church featuring the original leaded stained-glass windows. The interior is Gothic architecture as is the church furniture.
