The Norman Lutheran Church was organized May 10, 1872.
The first regular Pastor, J.A. Hellestvedt came in 1873. Since that tie 8 Pastors have severed the Congregation, with Jerry Salveson as the present Pastor.
The first combined church and school log house was built in 1875, and has since been moved to Oslo, Norway.
The Norman Congregation has built 3 churches, the first 2 being destroyed by fire. The present church was built in 1933.
