Rev. A. N. Bickmore, pastor at Tuttle, was invited to hold some services. As a result of this effort the Church of the Nazarene was organized with 14 charter members on Easter Sunday, in April of 1928 by Rev. E. E. Wordsworth, District Superintendent.
Rev. T. H. Ova became the first pastor, supplying from Fessenden, first worshipping in the school.
Under the leadership of Rev. Carl Brockmueller the Methodist church was purchased on May 12, 1942.
The building was remodeled under Rev. C. Don Reynolds. A parsonage was begun in 1945 by Rev. Henry E. Simonsen. Rev. Melvin A. Carlson is the present pastor.

Nazarene Church, Denhoff Built in 1907 by Methodists
The present and only church in Denhoff was but in 1907 by the Methodists.
Jake Hemple served as janitor and choir leader. Other choir members were Mrs. John Koth, Mrs. George Thom, Mrs. Jake Hemple and the late Mrs. E. John's. Mrs. George Thom served as organist.
The first pastor was Rev. Wiley from Goodrich, who conducted morning services in the McClusky Methodist and two o'clock services in Denhoff. Evening services were conducted in Goodrich.
For eight years the church became a community church. In 1928 the Nazarene Church was organized by Rev. Wads- worth from Minnesota and Rev. Ted Ova was the first pastor. There were only 14 members.
The church was remodeled in 1948 with a full basement, tables for serving, kitchen equipment and carpeting. Rev. Reynolds was pastor during this time.
The parsonage was recently painted and is occupied by Archie Erdmann and his mother.
Rev. Wm. Brown from Goodrich is the present pastor.
