Hoya Davidcummingii​​
Hoya davidcummingii is a charming little species in the Hoya family, and it’s a favorite among collectors because of its distinctive foliage and adorable blooms.

Characteristics
  • Small, thick, slightly fuzzy leaves
  • Often oval or rounded with a soft texture
  • Compact growth habit, making it great for small spaces or hanging pots
Flowers
  • Produces clusters of tiny, waxy blooms
  • Colors range from pinkish to yellowish with darker centers
  • Known for a sweet fragrance when in bloom
  • Flowers are relatively small but appear in generous clusters
Growth Habit
  • A trailing or cascading vine
  • Slow to moderate grower
  • Looks beautiful in hanging baskets or trained on a small trellis
Light
  • Bright, indirect light is ideal
  • Can tolerate some morning sun
  • Avoid harsh afternoon rays that can scorch the leaves
Water
  • Let the soil dry out between waterings
  • Prefers slightly more moisture than some other Hoyas, but still hates soggy soil
  • Use a well‑draining mix (orchid bark + perlite + potting soil works well)
Humidity
  • Thrives in moderate to high humidity
  • Great candidate for a greenhouse cabinet or a warm bathroom
Temperature
  • Prefers warm conditions
  • Keep above 60°F for best growth
