75th Anniversary of
Grue Evangelical Lutheran Church
Organized March 17, 1879, with 63 charter members. (Later some withdrew to form their own congregation). This church was built in 1891. The Ladies Aid financed the construction of the basement in 1932 to serve as their dining hall and kitchen. Church records show - 433 baptisms, 326 confirmands, 44 weddings, 168 burials. Present membership - 41 families.
