The First Lutheran Church was organized February 15, 1899. The cornerstone for the first building was laid in 1920. The church was remodeled and rebuilt as shown in the picture in 1948. The fiftieth anniversary and re-dedication services were held on June 18, 1950.
Former pastors ere T. T. Wipperud, N. A. Larsen, S. Turmo, S. K. Thollehaug, H. H. Frost, Lars Foss, A. M. Kraabel, H. A. Lunde, Harold J. Brown, A. M. Eidbo. The present pastor is Clifford H. Nelson.
The Ladies Aid of the First Lutheran Church was organized May 18, 1899. There were twelve charters members. Mrs. Timan L. Quarve was the first president. The membership now in 1950, is seventy-two.
