First Lutheran Church
Congregation organized May 22, 1904, by Rev. Samuel Peterson. It was known then as the Fern Congregation. In 1922 it was changed to The First Lutheran. Our church was built in 1914. In 1951 lightning struck the steeple, which had to be remodeled to present structure. The pastors that have served this congregation are Rev. Peterson, Rev. Buckneberg, Rev. Sauer, Rev. Hegg, Rev. Mathre, Rev. Rosholt, Rev. Engelstad and our present pastor Rev. Jacobson.
