Organized March 13, 1885, in St. Hilaire, Polk County, Minnesota.

First Pastor-Reverend Saugstad.
March 26, 1885-Sunday School began.
December 25, 1886-First conformation class confirmed.
1889-Church cemetery was acquired north of St. Hilaire, Minnesota
1891-Building of the church was a reality.
1898-An 800-pound bell was installed in the bell tower.
1918-Introducation of English worship service.
1910, 1935, & 1960-Anniversary celebrations were held.
1965-Present name, Calvary Lutheran Church, was adapted.
A basement, extensive remodeling, new additions, and other improvements have taken place over the years.
